The diesel air heater is more like an air conditioner, directly blowing warm air into the cabin. A diesel water heater is more like a diesel hot water system, heating coolant or water and circulating it in a heat exchanger. Water heaters are better suited for larger spaces, engine preheating, and hot-water supply on ships and RVs.
The current of the heater during normal operation is approximately 2.2A. If the battery voltage drops below 8V, the heater will automatically shut down to protect your system.
